My name is Christina Griffin-Jones. I use she/her pronouns.
I am running to be re-elected as an 80th Assembly District Delegate to represent Democrats who live in the 80th Assembly District in the California Democratic Party. I have lived on land that was stolen from Kumeyaay people that is now known as the 80th Assembly District for most of my life. I am a Howard University graduate and a former Committee Member of National City’s Veterans and Military Families Advisory Committee. Due to the high cost of rent, I have moved over 23 times and have lived in National City, City Heights, Logan, and Chula Vista. Struggles I experienced as a renter, student, worker, and poor person I was only able to overcome when I worked alongside members of my community with social justice, civil rights, and labor organizations as a community organizer. I am a lifelong Democrat and have canvassed, phone banked, and fundraised for Democratic candidates in every election cycle since 2001. If you live in the 80th Assembly District, I would be honored to get your vote. Please request your ballot by Monday, January 11, 2021 by going to bit.ly/80thAssemblyReg. If you cannot vote due to your status or your right to vote has not yet been restored, know that you are still a valued, strong member of your family and community and I hope for your support and trust.
